Natural gas consumption hits record due to cold

Natural gas consumption reached the highest value ever in Portugal on Thursday, January 19.
On the same day, electricity consumption also registered the highest value since January 2011, that is, the last six years.
This reflects the increase in the consumption of natural gas in Portugal due to the cold that plagues the country and the needs of electricity production.
